Lenora Selander Schlamp

Lenora Selander Schlamp, age 61, passed away 1 June 2003 in Picayune, MS after a long struggle with emphysema.  She was born in Houston, TX on 17 August 1941 to Oscar and Lillian Selander.  She graduated from Spring Branch High School and while working for a local bank met Wilfred (Willie) F. Schlamp.  They began their 41 years of marriage on 5 May 1962.  They started their family here in Houston and then moved to Austin, TX in 1978.  After Willie’s retirement from IBM in 1991, they moved to Carriere MS.  She is survived by her devoted husband, Wilfred (Willie) F. Schlamp;  son Michael and daughter-in-law Nadine Schlamp of Austin, TX;  daughter Stephanie and son-in-law James M. Heffley of Kyle, TX;  grandsons David, Alex, and Austin Schlamp and Bryan, Ian, and Gaelen Heffley;  her brothers Glenn, Brian and Leslie Selander;  and her sisters Karen Selander and Ilene Evans;  and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.  A funeral service was held on 3 June 2003 in Picayune, MS.  Friends are encouraged to donate to their favorite charities.
